I just hate it when…
My glasses break.
It sucks. Mostly cause then I have to wear my spare pair which is always of a slightly worse prescription. Not to mention that this spare pair has a pathetic thin frame compared to my awesome thick rimmed glasses.
With these wires frames, it was always an issue of the lenses occasionally falling out… not with my better glasses! I assumed they’d be more hard wearing. That was until the side bit fell off…
I say ’side bit’, I don’t actually know if there’s a proper word for the bit that rests on your ear and connects to the main frame.
Anyway, it generally sucks. This frame is always slanted to the left, so it looks like I’ve just been punched or something. I’ll hopefully get my good glasses back in the next few days.

Bagelfish
To clear things up… Bagelfish is not random, it is in fact me having misheard someone saying ‘Babelfish’ the popular internet translator. However, I have adopted it as my alias. So that’s that.
Babelfish was a fantastic internet translator which helped me through my French GSCE… totally legitimately of course… But yea, it was so useful! There was a point where it would translate the phrases literally, but then it got improved and became even better!
There is a reason however that I refer to it in the past tense. It was taken over by Yahoo. This irritates me so much, even if the most-part of my irritation comes from the fact that they changed the picture of the fish! It used to be a brilliant little fish, so awesome and simple…

I strongly oppose how big companies take over other companies because they want more money! Whatever happened to dignity!? Like how Google took over Youtube! They don’t flaunt it… but that doesn’t change the fact that they have degraded Youtube’s solitary prowess somewhat.
Hmm… maybe Babelfish and Youtube aren’t the best comparisons, they’re not exactly in the same league. It’s kinda like comparing Steven Speilberg to your French teacher…

Using pictures of people from a Google search is legal right? I mean, anyone who searches it has access to all the pictures for their own use. Anyway, if you are reading this lady who I used the picture of, feel free to contact me and I’ll change it for somebody else.
Thinking of pictures… I figured out how to change my display picture! Hoorah! However I don’t have any good pictures of myself saved on this computer… so I made one instead. Hope you like it, it’s a fairly accurate representation, although the hair’s a little shorter than in real life.
Well, that’s pretty much all I have to say for now.

Hello people of the internet. I am Bagelfish (not that anybody actually calls me that, I just like to use it as my display name), and this is my page.
This is kind of an introduction to everything, and I just want to say I’ll be writing this blog whenever I feel like it, not on any schedule.
I’ll write about anything I feel like, or anything I think is particularly funny or worth sharing.
This isn’t really to entertain people… it’s more for me to find an outlet for ideas or whatever.
